Salted Brown Butter Rice Krispie Bars

So addictive!!!!


1 Stick of Butter
1 (10oz) Bag Mini Marshmallows
1/4 tsp Coarse Sea Salt
6 cups Rice Krispie Cereal
Pan Spray

1. Spray a 8x8in pan (for thicker bars) or a 9x13 pan (for thinner bars)
2. In a large bowl measure out the cereal and toss with the salt
3. In a large pan (dutch oven) melt the butter.  Cook stirring constantly.  The butter will go from foamy, to clear and golden, then finally to a brown nutty color.  At this point remove from heat

4. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.  You may need to turn the heat back on to melt them completely.
5.  Add cereal and salt and stir until consistent
6.  Pour out into the prepared pan and smooth out evenly.  Cool and cut into squares
